They're being trained in the JOTA station that David Farrell, Jason Williams and I set up over the last few years.

And David (Bendigo district commissioner/cub leader) and Greg Parsons 1st Castlemaine Venturer leader are also studying for their Foundation licenses.
David has already said he intends to continue studying and obtain his standard license.

Tony is doing an excellent job with the Venturers.

He's also re-motivated a lot of amateurs in the area who were less active or not active by organizing saturday coffee mornings and SOTA get togethers and a Castlemaine District email letter.

This is all done as members of the Bendigo Amateur Radio and Electronics Club, it's not a separate or breakaway group at all, he's providing activities for BAREC members in the Castlemaine area.
