    NBS Antennas tilt-mast

There is a major shack upgrade in the pipeline, to be completed
over several stages, and this was to include a wind-up, tilt over
mast from Nally Towers, to support a large multi-band HF beam.

Nally, to my surprise, is out of business, and it looks like NBS are
the only ones left manufacturing such a thing.

I like the idea of something free standing, with ease of access to
    the antennas for maintenance.

Any members have any experience with NBS antennas tilt-mast?

Is it geared towards a larger array, or more lightweight installs?

It doesn't look as hefty as the Nally, engineering wise or price wise.

Hi mate. I know a lot of people that use the NBS mast's. My brother inlaw had a big Optibeam on one but I think that might have been pushing it in the wind. Nally went out of business due to Mr Nally falling off the perch. I got myself a Hills two stage. They normally tilt at the base but a mate of mine modified it to work the same as a Nally. What sort and how many antennas are you looking at getting into the air? Also whats your callsign mate.

Well I'm hoping to install one of TET-Emtrons new mult-band beams, if he ever gets round
to selling them, they seem to have been ''in development'' for ages.

    Damn shame about Nally..

Should be right with the TET. A mate of mine VK3MEG has a 5 element TET on his NBS mast.
