    I don't think any of the "smaller" SDR type radios do. The larger radios like my IC-7700 do. Plug it into a GPO and no need to worry about sucking the guts out of your power supply.

    I guess the mid size radios don't have inbuilt supplies for a variety of reasons e.g. to reduce the cost, weight, size, heat generation, screening from adjacent circuits etc., and many people may want to use their shack supply rather than pay for one inbuilt.

    A matching external supply with inbuilt speaker is a good combination option, but Icom supplies have tended to be pricey here.

    I was eagerly awaiting this radio. I foolishly thought it would be cheaper than the 7600. I think I might aim for the 7300.
