Andrews are a necessary evil unfortunately..
Kyle Comms in Queensland may also be worth a try for parts, he's
an Icom man, but mainly into commercial now.
Would be interested to know if anyone has gone to him recently for component
level repairs/tunes etc.

Last time I seen Kyle Communications he was working from his shed at home in Caboolture and didn't have the shop in Brisbane. That was a couple of years ago now but he is a good bloke to deal with.

Bomber do you know if Kyle will still work on something less sophisticated,
like older 27Mhz CB radios?
I have a couple of classics needing allignments/tunes etc.
I bought an HF rig off him a while ago, he had a CPI 2000 AM/SSB rig in his shack.

As far as I know Magic Boy he will possibly work on it but don't expect it back anytime soon I know one instance that after 3 months the radio had not even been started.
